Where are your courses held?
We offer scheduled courses throughout the year in cities across the US.
Private on-site courses are arranged at the client’s convenience and conducted at the client’s facility at any location in the US.
My clinic/company has several new staff members who need CAOHC certification. Can you provide a course at my location?
Private on-site courses for up to 8 people may be arranged anywhere in the US at the client’s convenience.
Do you combine certification and recertification courses?
Unlike most CAOHC course providers, we conduct our certification and recertification courses separately. This allows us to tailor the course content to the audience and focus on preparing students for the specific exam they will take at the conclusion of the course.
How can I request testing accommodations (for the CAOHC standardized exam) in accordance with The Americans with Disabilities Act?
Approximately three weeks before the course start date, students receive a packet of materials that contains instructions for requesting testing accommodations. The request must be submitted for approval no later than two weeks prior to the start of the course. Supporting documentation is required (see https://www.ada.gov/regs2014/testing_accommodations.html). Note: Course Directors are not permitted to see the exam and do not have knowledge of the exam questions. They are not permitted to offer any explanations or answer questions once the exam has begun.
How can I request a Spanish-language version of the CAOHC standardized exam?

How can I register for a course?
To register, complete and submit the online registration form. After submitting the form, you will be directed to the payment page, where you can pay the registration fee online.
How can I register one of my employees?
Supervisors or administrators may complete and submit the online registration form on behalf of an employee who will be attending a course, as long as all of the required information is provided. Once the registration form is submitted, you will be directed to the payment page to pay the registration fee using a credit card or ACH (e-check).
How can I register several employees for a course?
Each student must complete an individual online registration form, which may be completed by the student or a supervisor or administrator.
After submitting the individual registration forms, if you wish to pay for all the registrations together, contact me to provide credit card or bank account information by phone.
Can you hold a seat in the course if I submit a registration form?
No. Payment must be made in order to reserve a seat in a course. Registration is considered to be complete when the registration form has been submitted and the payment has cleared (e.g., the credit card has been successfully settled, usually by the evening of the day on which it is submitted). After registration is finalized, the student will receive an email message to acknowledge the completed registration process.
Registration Fees and Payment
What are the registration fees for your courses?
The registration fee for 2018 certification courses is $995 per person. The registration fee for 2018 recertification courses is $525.
All courses include CAOHC’s exam fee and a copy of the CAOHC Hearing Conservation Manual, which students receive about three weeks prior to the course start date.
What payment methods do you accept?
You may pay online for course registration fees with any major credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). You may also pay online by ACH (e-check) from any checking account.
If you would prefer to pay by phone, you may contact me to arrange to provide your credit card or bank account information by phone.
Corporate checks are accepted for private on-site courses.
How can I pay online?
You (or someone else from your company) may pay your registration fee online at the payment page.
How can my supervisor (or someone else) pay for my course after I register online?
To pay a registration fee for yourself or someone else, start here to access the payment site and pay online with a credit card or ACH (e-check). When paying for someone else, enter the student’s information in the “shipping” section of the payment form. The “billing” section information must match what is on file with the cardholder’s credit card company.
I am registering more than one employee from my company. Can I pay for all of the registrations with one payment?
The payment site is set up to process single registrations. If you wish to pay for more than one registration, please complete and submit an online registration form for each student and then contact me to provide credit card or bank account information by phone.
